Lemon essential oil is cold pressed from lemon peel. The peel is pricked and pressed to release the oil with it's refreshing and uplifting aroma.

Lemon oil has many benefits. Used in aromatherapy it has an uplifting effect and is a quick mood enhancer. It can also be added to massage oils but should never be applied directly to the skin but mixed with a carrier oil. It is also photo toxic so avoid exposure to the sun after applying to the skin.
