Geranium Oil is extracted from the leaves of the Geranium plant by using steam distillation method. It is a greenish yellow color liquid that is easily soluble in alcohols and other essential oils. It blends well with neroli, lemon, lavender, jasmine, grapefruit, juniper, lemongrass, nutmeg, basil, Clary sage, Citronella, Bergamot and fennel. Some primary constituents of Geranium oil are rose oxide, Citronellayl formate, linalool, geraniol, geranyl formate, Citronellol, Isomenthone, geranyl tiglate, geranyl butyrate, eudesmol, caryophyllene, guaia-6 and 9-diene.
