Eucalyptus oil is well known for it's cleansing properties and it's fresh and distinct aroma. Eucalyptus essential oil is extracted from the leaves of the eucalyptus tree, native to Australia. There are a few different varieties of eucalyptus tree that are used to produce eucalyptus oil. The two most popular are Eucalyptus globulus essential oil which has a clean, strong, classic eucalyptus aroma and is high in cineole. This is the eucalyptus oil we are offering for sale here. The other popular one is Eucalyptus radiata essential oil which has a softer, sweeter aroma and is not as high in cineole as Eucalyptus globulus and is popular with some people who prefer the gentler aroma.
Generally speaking all pure eucalyptus oil is useful for a variety of purposes. It is a wonderful addition to diffuser blends, useful for freshening laundry, deodorising and cleaning, insect repellent, removing label glue and residual dirt etc.
